Ingratitude can make someone to stop rendering help to you. It may not mean anything to do at that point but it does matter a lot. Learn to appreciate people on whatsoever they have done for you, it really counts.
Apostle Joshua Selman has again spoken on the need to appreciate people who did good to us in an exclusive way other than just saying mere “thanks”. According to him, ingratitude is a display of dishonor.
Someone takes care of you, pays your house rents, school fees etc and after two days all you can send him in appreciation is just “thanks”? That’s quite bad and disheartening. Dishonor can make your destiny helpers distance themselves from you.
The cleric also added and said, “your certificate will give you a job but your honour will guide your promotion. Practice honour, the cheapest way to practice is through thanksgiving. Saying “thanks” is a mediocre way of expressing honour.
