More people are losing faith and leaving God’s house for a variety of reasons, but the common denominator is always the Church’s leadership and abysmal human relations.
Ama Jenn, a social media user, sparked outrage on the internet after she revealed why she no longer attends church and the reason for her break from church.
According to Ama Jenn, her friend became pregnant out of wedlock, and as a result, her auntie informed church authorities of her situation.
According to Ama Jenn, Church authorities were fond of publicly humiliating, embarrassing, and criticizing young ladies who became pregnant out of wedlock in front of the Church congregation.
As a result, her friend decided to illegally abort the baby in order to avoid embarrassment and public humiliation, and she tragically lost her life in the process.
Ama stated again that she becomes enraged when she reminisces. She concluded that she believes the Church is not a place for saints, but rather a place for sins, and she admonished the church’s leadership to exercise caution and wisdom in dealing with such cases in order to avoid escalating the issues.
