Laudable! Pastor Chris Oyakhilome splashes $125,000 on 10 African youths

The Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI), has splashed the sum of $125,000 on 10 winners of the 2021 Africa Future Leaders Award FALA.

For nine years now, through COFI, Pastor Chris I Ty s has inculcated FLA into the colourful all-night-till-the-break-of-dawn new year eve service, where efforts of African youths striving to change the narratives of the continent through their innovations and humanitarian interventions are acknowledged and supported with cash reward to enable them do more.

While each of the ten winners get a $10,000 cash reward, the star prize winner takes home and additional $25,000.

Camerounian Nervis Nzometiah Tetsop, an exceptional innovator and community builder with great enthusiasm for youth leadership development won the Star prize and was gifted an additional sum of $25,000.

The remaining nine, FALA 2021 winners went home with the cash award of $10,000 each. They are: Cesar Komi Aguidi (Togo – 23 years), Prince Funsani Zulu (Zambia – 21 years), Deo-Gratias Meyou (Benin Republic – 24 years), Prisca Torboal (Chad – 23 years), Emmanuel Gyan Finawah (Ghana – 23 years), Hillary Nakitare (Kenya – 23 years), Anna Maneno Michael Milla (South Sudan – 20 years), Manzi Guevara (Rwanda – 23 years), Isaac Bitrus Nggida (Nigeria – 23 years), and Nzometiah Nervis Tetsop (Cameroon – 23 years).

The 9th edition of the Future Africa Leaders’ Award (FALA 2021), which held on 31st December 2021 at the Christ Embassy Arena Lagos had two former Nigeria Presidents, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr Goodluck Jonathan as Chairman and Special Guest of Honour, respectively.

The FALA award held at the Loveworld arena on 31st December 2021 in conjunction with the Christ Embassy new year eve service had former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan as Chairman and Special Guest of Honour, respectively.

Also at the event as a Special Guest is Her Excellency, Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, President and founder of the Africa Diaspora Development Initiative, (ADDI).

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, President of the Loveworld Nation aka Christ Embassy at the 31st Night Service declared the year 2022 as “The Year of the Cloud of Gathering.”
