As a christian women, your church forbids make-up & trouser but ur husband like it, will u obey ur church or ur hubby.
The Bible does not specifically mention trousers in any verses. However, there are a few references to clothing that could be interpreted as meaning trousers (or the lack thereof).
For example, in Deuteronomy 22:5, it states that “A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.” This verse could be interpreted as meaning that it is wrong for a woman to wear trousers (as they are traditionally considered men’s clothing), but it is ultimately up to the reader to decide what it means.
In 1 Timothy 2:9-10, Paul writes that “women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty and self-control, not with braided hair and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness—with good works.” This verse seems to indicate that women should dress modestly and not show off their wealth through their clothes. Again, whether or not this includes trousers is up to interpretation.
Ultimately, there is no clear answer from the Bible about whether or not Christian women should wear trousers. Each individual will have to make their own decision based on their interpretation of Scripture.
How to resolve this issue (Opinion)
The Bible is clear that Christians are to obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29). So, if your church forbids makeup and trousers but your husband likes it, you should obey God and not your husband. Of course, this doesn’t mean you have to leave your church or get a divorce. You can simply explain to your husband that you feel convicted about obeying God in this area and ask for his understanding and support.
