Emmanuella Mike Bamiloye,the wife of the Popular Gospel Filmaker, Evangelist Damilola Mike Bamiloye has dropped another piece of advice for her followers on the topic “Be Humble”.
Emmanuella Mike Bamiloye as called by many, used Rebekah as an example of virtous woman who was Humble enough to listen to Abraham servant and also feed his camels.
According to the mother of one, Rebekahs humility made her receive her blessings in full.
She therefore advised her followers to stay humble and let go of pride so as to be a partaker of God’s blessing which may be channeled Through a less striking vessel.
Emmanuella Mike Bamiloye shares;Many people have missed their blessings because of pride. Imagine if Rebekah refused to ‘stoop low’ to help Abraham’s servant.
She not only gave him a listening ear, she gave both him and his camels water to drink till they were satisfied Genesis 24:18-20. What if she had raised her shoulders and said “don’t speak to me, you are a mere servant”.
You don’t know who God has sent to deliver your blessings. It may not be in the packaging you had in mind but you must be humble enough to receive it.
James 4:6 says God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.It was this same humility that made Rebekah come down from her camel when she saw Isaac Gen 24:64.
Many, especially ladies, have refused to come down from their camels 🐪 which can stand for their achievements, their unreasonably high standards, ungodly values etc.
Like I always emphasize, as long as your standards are godly and reasonable, you mustn’t lower them for anyone but if what you are expecting from a man or a woman is for him or her to have everything, you need to come down from that camel.
Learn from Rebekah, don’t judge people by their outlook, be humble and allow God exalt you. God bless.
