Maverick City Music “pauses” its partnership with Dante Bowe due to “behavior” concerns

Due to “behavior” difficulties, Maverick City Music has temporarily suspended its collaboration with Dante Bowe.

Maverick City Music has put their working connection with lead vocalist Dante Bowe on indefinite hold.

The well-known Christian music band made the announcement on their Instagram page.

They cited “behavior that is incongruous with our basic principles and beliefs” as the reason for their decision.

The band promised in a statement that they will always be there for Bowe as a “brother in Christ,” no matter what he faces in the future.

The gang did not elaborate on the actions that led to this result or say when they expected him to return.

We have chosen to temporarily suspend our business engagement with Dante Bowe due to conduct that is at odds with our values and principles. We recognize the complexity of the issues involved and the personal stakes involved in making this decision, but we believe it is important to address nevertheless.

The musicians in Maverick City Music come from a wide range of experiences and perspectives, therefore it would be unfair to generalize about the group’s morals from the acts of a single member.

We are committed to and fully behind Dante as he continues to forge his own path because he is a brother in Christ. We are all in desperate need of God’s mercy, and it is our sincere prayer that everyone of us would extend the same kindness to God and give him the chance to mature in Christ that we have given ourselves.

Soon later, Bowe announced on his own social media account that he would be taking a hiatus from social media because he felt it was “for the best.”

On the “behavior” mentioned in the Maverick City Music statement, he remained silent.

I’ve consulted with some of the most astute leaders and brothers I know in light of current events and perspectives. He said, “I’m going to take a break from social media to recharge my body and mind.”

When I was younger, I imagined how far I’d gone in life, but I didn’t give any thought to the criticism and scrutiny that would inevitably follow. Everyone has to learn how to take a breather and regroup every once in a while.
