Meet 5 Powerful Men of God In Nigeria Who Are Also Owners Of Big Universities

Christianity in Nigeria have come a long way since the earlier missionaries introduced Christianity to Nigeria. Over the years, Nigeria have been privileged to have great men of God who dedicated their lives to the work of the kingdom. Most of them sacrificed their personal ambitions in order to serve God. A lot of them are well educated but yet they didn’t allow their secular knowledge to hinder them from seeking the kingdom of God.

We all know that pastors are called to preach the gospel. But just like every other person, pastors also have their own problems to solve and so they also have the freedom to work or do business. We have a lot of powerful men of God in Nigeria who also succeeded in opening great schools. Most of the schools owned by these pastors are structured in a way whereby they also teach the students about the kingdom of God.

Indeed God is a wonderful God and he rewards those that serve him. We will take a look at some of the powerful men of God and the schools they own. You will also see the amount each school pay as their school fees.

1. Pastor W. F Kumuyi

Pastor W. F is the General surpretendent of Deeper Life Bible Church. Pastor Kumuyi is best known for his holiness messages. His church is spread all over the country and beyond.

Just like other big churches, Pastor Kumuyi also has a University named Anchor University. The university was founded in 2014 by the Deeper Christian Life Ministry and was approved in 2016 by the National University commission (NUC). The university focuses on both the academic and spiritual life of the students.

2. Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye

Pastor E. A Adeboye is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God. His Church is one of the churches that can be found almost in every streets you go.

Pastor Adeboye is the founder of the Redeemer’s university. The school was established in 2005 by the General Overseer of the Church. The school fees is within N 563,000 and N823,000

3. Dr D. K Olukoya

Dr Olukoya is the founder and General Overseer of Mountain Of Fire Ministry. He is also the founder of Mountain Top University which is located in Ogun state. The University was established in 2015 and has a tuition fee of about N520, 000 per year.

4. Rev Father Emmanuel Edeh

Father Edeh is a Catholic priest and the founder of Madonna University. The first University was founded in Okija on 10 May 1999 in Anambra State.

The tuition fee depends on the course one is studying. The fee ranges from N202,500 to N 925,000.

5. Bishop David Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo is a renowned and powerful man of God. He is the founder and the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Word wide.

David Oyedepo has two prominent universities. One of them is covenant University, which is one of the best universities in Nigeria. The university is located in Ota, Ogun state and it was founded in 2002. According to the school website, the tuition fee ranges between N817,500 to N882,500.

Landmark University is another university owned by pastor Oyedepo. Unlike covenant University, landmark is aimed at improving the agricultural sector.
