Born on June 12, 1963, Temitope Balogun Joshua, simply known as TB Joshua is a Nigerian pastor and the founder of the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN). He is also a televangelist and runs the Emmanuel TV station from Lagos.
One OF SCOAN’s wise men by name Christopher Orji, who is also said to be TB Joshua’s friend as well as his right-hand man, left the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations to form his own ministry.
Christopher Orji’s departure left many people shocked, as that was the least thing they expected. Unsurprisingly, his decision to leave sparked controversies, as some believed he wanted to start his own church out of greed and hunger for power, while others believed he chose to leave because “he had finally seen the light.”
“Wiseman Chris” as he was known is not TB Joshua’s only wise man that left. There used to be five wise men, but “Wiseman John Chi,” a Cameroonian left the church to start his own ministry in Cameroon, while “Wiseman Daniel” also left the church.
Why do you think Christopher Orji left to start his own ministry? Do you think it boils down to greed, hunger for power and independence as some people suggested, or did he leave because “he had finally seen the light?”
