The Dunamis International Gospel Center which is led by it’s Senior Pastor, Dr Paul Enenche hosted over hundred thousand persons who filled up the Glory Dome and so many more sat outside for the annual Music carnival tagged Nations Worship in his Presence.
Many Gospel Choir and Gospel Musicians were present like Nathaniel Bassey, Samsong, Mr M and Revelation, Chris Morgan, Steve Crown, Prosper Ochimana, Mrs Nwachukwu, The Lord’s Trumpeter, Freke Umoh, Solomon Lange, Deborah Enenche, Emmasings, Dunsin Oyikan, Elijah Oyelade, Owie Abutu.
During the rendition by Owie Abutu, participants were thrilled to see a very young lady, pick up the bass guitar and started playing it. Usually in recent times, ladies have been seen participating in playing of musical instruments like the Piano but seeing a female Bass guitarist is something that is not common in this part of the world.
The young lady’s name is Joy Peters also known as J-Bass. She is from Kogi state. She learnt her musical skills from Planet Shakers Music Academy, Lokoja. She is not only a guitarist, she also sings too.
