Meet The Nigerian Actress Who Left Nollywood To Become An Evangelist And Why She Did That

Nigeria has Produced several talented Actresses who are doing great in the Industry but over the years, some of these Actresses have quit Acting for different reasons. In this article, we will be talking about a Nigerian Actress who quit Acting to obey God’s call.

The name of this beautiful lady is Joy Edjeren but she is popularly known as ‘JJ Bunny’, Joy who ventured into the Entertainment Industry several years ago is a Native of Benue State in Nigeria. She starred in several Nollywood Movies when she was still active in the Industry but at the moment Joy is a Minister of God who is winning souls for Christ.

Why She Did It

According to reports, Joy decided to give her life to Christ because she disobeyed God and she almost lost her life in the process. According to reports, she was in a hotel room in the United States when she had an attack that almost took her life but fortunately she called her sister who prayed for her. After she recovered, she heard a strange voice telling her “either four or five is enough, go to your sister”, rather than prepare to return to Nigeria to see her sister as instructed by the voice she heard, she went to the hospital to check her health. The doctors said nothing was wrong with her so she went to Ghana to shoot a Movie.

When she got to Ghana, her condition deteriorated and she was rushed to the hospital, None of the medication she took worked so she called her sister who told her to return to Nigeria. She was later taken to Abuja to see her Sister and her health took a miraculous turn.

After the Incident that took place in 2012, Joy decided to quit her Acting Career and today she is now a Minister of God who is doing great in life.
