Pastor Michael Orokpo is a man of God who started his career as Samuel did in the house of Eli. He was born on 1st March 1981 in Benue State, Nigeria. He hails from the Idoma speaking tribe of the State. The story of Pastor Michael Orokpo is a clear sign of the divine call to serve God.
According to him while recounting his experience with God to his people, he revealed how he had an encounter with God when he was barely 7-year-old. This encounter was a call to become a prophet and see visions because where there is no vision, the people always perish.
When he became 9-year-old, God sent him to his father. He made it known that he didn’t even understand the message God sent him to his father but he just delivered it. In his words, he said God said; “Tell him, if you are not careful, you will be the Architect of your misfortune”.
To him, he didn’t even understand what architect meant but he had to pass the message as it came. When he was growing up, he had his plans of what to become aside from being a Prophet/Pastor. In 2013, he applied for an AirForce course but didn’t make it despite his connections.
He later tried the Nigerian Navy to no avail before finally realizing that his destiny lies in the ministry of the Gospel. Great men of God such as Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Pastor Paul Enenche, and Apostle Arome Osayi impacted a lot into his life, and today, he is a great man of God.
After his ordination on 24th March 2019, he began to work with Apostle Arome Osayi at the Remnant Christian Network. He obtained his Bachelor of Science, Masters Degree, and Ph.D. from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State. This shows that he is also an academician.
