Meet the only Son of Mountain Of Fire Ministries G.O Daniel Olukoya who was born after 18 years

Before we meet the son of the seasoned pastor, lets take a brief look at his biography. Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya was born in the western part of Nigeria precisely Akure, Ondo State. His father was a Police officer and a pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church(CAC) while his mother, a trader. He had his primary education at St. John’s catholic church Primary School, Akure and later at St. Jude’s Primary school, Ebute metta after he relocated with his parents to Lagos. At an early age Dr Olukoya was a very brilliant child and always came top of his class.

He proceeded to Methodist Boys’ High School (MBHS), Broad Street, Lagos for his secondary education and this is where he encountered Christ.

In 1976, Dr Daniel got admission into the University of Lagos and four years later he graduated with a first-class degree in Microbiology. Shortly after graduating, he won a scholarship to study for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Genetics at the University of Reading, United Kingdom. He concluded this within a space of three years and returned to Nigeria.

Dr olukoya whose father was a pastor has always been from a christian background and as such grew up in the fear of the lord. He had the zeal to serve God and when he encountered him in his youthful days, it propelled him into the ministry. He also mentored under the leadership of the general overseer of CAC Late Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola.

Pastor Olukoya is married to his lovely wife Shade Olukoya. Her parents who were christians were ardent members of christ Apostolic church(CAC). She was the fifth out of seven children. She and her Six other siblings got quality education through their Dad, George Adesanya who was a Marine Engineer with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) for many years from a tender age, she developed a passion for creative arts and she proceeded to the Darnley Career Academy, London, UK, a college of Arts, Fashion and Textile design, where she obtained a diploma in Fine Arts and Interior Decoration and a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Mrs. Olukoya is also a dedicated and talented singer and that was how she met Dr olukoya during one of the programs. He made his intentions of marrying her known They prayed fervently as to get confirmation from God about their relationship and finally they got married in 1986. However they didn’t have a child until 2004 when they welcomed a baby boy named Elijah Toluwani Olukoya. Elijah is currently 16 years Old.
