Meet this traditional Ruler who is a also a Pastor
When you hear the words ‘traditional ruler’, what crosses your mind? Do you think of our forefathers and their old ways?
Times have changed, the world has changed and the people in it are changing also.
Gone are the days when a traditional ruler was always seated on the throne settling cases, having never ending meetings with his kinsmen and planning on going to war with other villages.
This traditional ruler is not like that, he is a different type of ruler. His name is Kingsley Fletcher and he is a king, pastor, doctor, vice chancellor and educator.
He is the ‘suapolor’ of the Se traditional area in the Dangme district of Ghana. His title is ‘Drolor’ and royal name is ‘Bosso Adamtey 1’.
So he is Drolor Bosso Adamtey 1 of (shai) traditional area.
Born on April 1 1956 and married to Lady Martha, the 64 year old king is a father and grandfather. He was coronated on August 8, 1999.
He is the founder of life international, a church in Durham North Carolina and Kingsley Fletchers Ministry, a church in Accra.
Kingsley Fletcher was voted as the first vice chancellor of the university of professional studies Accra on March 5, 2014.
He is also a best selling author as he has written books like ‘when Kings pray and fast’ and ‘who says you can’t’. The king has three doctorate degrees and is also still a scholar.
During an interview, he stated that his driving force is God, and he never stops praising Him for his many successes and achievements.
Although he is 64 years old and has a lot of achievements, he isn’t resting on his oars as he still finds time to teach and minister.
