In Christainity, Pastors are regarded as the Shepherds of the Church. They are expected to live an exemplary lifestyle that is worthy of emulation for their members. Pastor Kumuyi is one of the Nigerian ministers that has built of reputation of dressing modestly and appropriately over the years.
Kumuyi is an 80yr old Preacher, Author, Lecturer and Founder of Deeper Life Bible Church. He is a very intelligent man with a First-class degree in Mathematics and Education. Right from his early days as a young Christain, A bulk of Pastor Kumuyi’s Messages has always been focused on themes like Holiness, Righteousness and Modesty.

God really anointed him in that field to help people on the path of destruction and moral decadence to repent and change their ways. His style of dressing has been a topic of discussion on the Nigerian Cyberspace for the past few years.
In most of his church programs, he always appears adorned with plain trousers, suit and a tie. This style used to be the signature look of Clergymen over the years and it still looks good. He knows that people are judged based on the way they dress and act, this may be one of the reason behind his resolve to avoid all kinds of controversies. As a Christian he showcases a Christlike Way of Acting, Dressing and Doing things which Christains emulate on a daily basis.

Although Pastor Kumuyi rocks Corporate Suits in church programs. He is also a man that is proud of his cultural heritage as long as it doesn’t clash with his Christain beliefs. Sometimes he also rocks the native attire of different geopolitical zones where his churches are located.
He does this when he is going for an official visits to spread the gospel of Christ. This helps to promote the concept of National unity among citizens of our dear nation. May God continue to reward his efforts as a minister in Nigeria, Amen.
