Biography of Minister Theophilus Sunday

Pastor Theophilus Sunday, a well-known Nigerian gospel minister and singer, was born on May 9, 1987. He is a special gospel pastor with a peculiar anointing that emanates through his chants and songs. He was born in Dekina, Nigeria’s Kogi State.

Theophilus Sunday, also known as One Spirit, was appointed with the mission of uniting man and God in marriage since Christ is the spouse and man is the church. His ministry employs worship to help the congregation develop a close relationship with the Holy Spirit. Theophilus Sunday, a psalmist, is well known for his gospel chant songs, which are exactly like those of Evangelist Lawrence Oyor. Every listener’s appetite for God is stoked by his songs, which are spirit-filled.

Minister Theophilus Sunday was born in Dekina, Kogi State, Nigeria. He grew up in Kogi State and after the completion of his primary school education, he enrolled at the Ochaja Boys Secondary School, Ochaja, Kogi State for his Senior School Certificate Examinations.

After that, he continued on to Kogi State University (KSU), Anyigba, where he graduated with a degree in theater arts. On November 5, 2012, Minister Theophilus Sunday enlisted in the National Youth Service Program (NYSC) following his graduation from the university during the 2011–2012 academic year. On October 10, 2013, he finished his service year under the NYSC program.

One of Nigeria’s numerous well-known gospel performers and preachers is Minister Theophilus Sunday. He is well-known in Christendom for the positive effects his songs have had on people’s lives, like many other gospel pastors. He has been to many churches and gospel gatherings in Nigeria to share the gospel via song. Additionally, he has received invitations to speak at other American universities.

Minister Theophilus Sunday is also the convener and regular host of the True Worshippers Concert, an expression of the World Worship Conference. It is a concert birthed from a mandate to make men as God through the ministry of Worship and make men spirit as it was the original makeup of man. With the first edition which held between May 19th and 21st, 2022 in Lokoja, Kogi state, the True Worshippers Concert is a call to spirit-hood.

The famous Apostle Arome Osayi is Minister Theophilus Sunday’s spiritual father, as is the case with many other gospel pastors. Minister Theophilus Sunday is not yet married, while nothing is known about his love life.
