My very close friend in Ministry does not believe in tithing, He even wrote a book against it – Bishop David Oyedepo Reveals

Bishop David Oyedepo has revealed that a very close friend of his, who is also a minister of the gospel, does not believe in tithing. He made this statement during the Covenant Hour of Prayer meeting, as he warned his congregation against throwing away what they believe just because not a lot of people believe it, or many people condemn it.

He explained that he cannot throw away his belief in tithing because his friend does not believe it, and speaks so convincingly against it. He said that since he has seen proofs of God’s supernatural supply because he paid his tithes, he cannot base his beliefs based on the opinions of others.

“A very close minister friend of mine does not believe in tithing. He even wrote a book against tithing. But does that stop me from accessing my open heaven order of blessings? No,” he said.

“Bless his soul wherever he is, but the things I’m teaching are speaking around the world; speaking around the world today. I don’t dump that because he is very fast in speaking and can coin words together with much applause. And suddenly this short man from one small village was named the richest pastor in the world. Which world? The world in which you live,” he said.

He encouraged his congregation to continue doing whatever they do for the service of God, as they can be sure they would receive their rewards in the due time.
