Apostle Edu Udechukwu, the overseer and lead pastor of the Revival Hub International spoke to his members about the need to experience personal encounters with God.
He revealed that one of the things that God sent them to sanitize in the body of Christ is unholy practices. He said that many people have also been warning him because of the things he says but they don’t know that it’s an authority that is backing him up to say them. According to him, he was once condemned for attacking Naira Marley, A popular hip-hop singer in Nigeria. Because he told them the truth that what he sings are not songs.

Speaking further, he said that every song is for worship but who are you worshipping. Beyond the words they say, there is a transference of spirit and when spirits begin to converge then there is an altar, and when there is an altar, then there will be worship. He said some people question if those songs are really bad and it has really affected their spiritual lives. He said that when you begin to mature in God, you don’t really care about what is coming in but what is going out. They care more about the back door than the front door because enough is coming through the front door.
He then explained that people condemned him for speaking against Naira Marley because he told that the hip-hop singer is a priest and not a singer. He said that once people begin to follow a man (as they do the popular hip hop artistes) and begin to live the kind of life he is living, he is not an entertainer, he is a priest and has an altar.
Even though you might not see a physical altar, it takes an altar to compel a generation to begin to follow a particular lifestyle. He said that they know the sacrifices that they are supposed to drop on that altar so even though you are a believer who speaks in tongues, you are part of the worshippers. The problem is that you are doing combined service.
