NDLEA Discloses What They Intend To Do To Pastor Ugochukwu Emmanuel

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA has recently disclosed to the Punch News that it will not be granting any preferential treatment to pastor Ugochukwu Emmanuel Ekwem of the Christ Living Hope Church, who was recently arrested for drug trafficking in Lagos state some days ago.

In a report on the Punch News, Pastor Ugochukwu was arrested on Monday, March 7th, 2022 at the Muritala Muhammed International airport in Lagos while he was on his way to Kenya for his 3-week crusade. The pastor was reported to have been caught with 54 sticks of drugs confirmed to be cannabis.

The spokesperson for NDLEA, Mr Femi Babafemi, said that the pastor confessed during a preliminary interview that he was going to use the drugs at his crusade in Kenya.

According to the Punch News, Pastor Ugochukwu may face life imprisonment if found guilty of the charges before him, however, while asking if the pastor will be shown some special treatment on the case, the NDLEA Spokesperson said that the law is the law and nobody will be shown any preferential treatment if found wanting.
