Pastor Dr. Paul and Pastor Dr. Becky Enenche
The senior Pastors of Dunamis International Gospel centre, with headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, Pastor Dr. Paul and Pastor Dr. Becky Enenche have advised intending couples against managing to marry.
He advised singles against managing to marry a person who was not the perfect picture of what they were looking for simply because they were tired of waiting for a perfect partner that matches their specific needs. He said he once asked his wife recently, if there was anytime during their courtship when she had double thoughts of marrying him and she replied No.
He went further to state that if it was possible with them, it was still possible now and the reason why there were a lot of marital accidents and couples threatening themselves with divorce months after their marriage was because they didn’t sit down to count the cost before entering into the marriage. He also advised singles to watch out for danger signals in a relationship and never to ignore any warning signs they see thinking things will get better. He also went ahead to state that marriage was not compulsory as believers and that the only thing that was compulsory as believers was heaven, as he said that a wedding that did not hold was far better than a broken marriage.
On the other hand, Pastor Mrs Becky Enenche, also advised singles both male and female never to marry out of desperation or pity and that the moment your partner whether male of female starts comparing you with other people, it was a sign of a problematic relationship and advised that such relationship should be readily discarded.
Pastors Paul and Becky Enenche also went ahead to pray for singles for marital fruitfulness and restoration of marriages in distress.
