Vice President Osinbajo’s vision for Nigeria at 62
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, has predicted that God would reward Nigeria with many possibilities and prosperity in the future. Osinbajo spoke at the National Christian Centre in Abuja on Sunday, where an interfaith service was organized in honor of Nigeria’s 62nd independence day. Nigeria will celebrate 62 years of independence on October 1.
“Brethren, we stand at the gate of a new country, and its light shines brightly; a nation of God’s promises; a nation of opportunities, fairness, and equity; a secure and prosperous country; a nation of laws and holiness,” Osinbajo said. “Even if what we see today appears bleak and dark, we have faith that God, who owns heaven and earth, will keep his promises to this nation.”
Osinbajo stated, quoting the Holy Bible (Joshua 21:45), that all good plans the Heavenly Father had in store for Nigeria would be realized. “Not a word of any good thing which the Holy Father has spoken to the Israelites has failed; all has come to pass,” he said.
“I declare concerning this country that no word will be omitted concerning any good thing which the Lord has spoken of Nigeria. Everything will happen in Jesus’ name.”
