Nigerian athlete Ese Brume presents her 2020 Olympic bronze medal to Pastor Oyedepo, Reveals Why

The 26-year-old credits Pastor Oyedepo for her success in Tokyo.

Nigerian sprinter Ese Brume has presented her 2020 Olympic Bronze medal to popular preacher Pastor David Oyedepo.

Brume won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games rescheduled for 2021 in the women’s long jump event.

The 26-year-old finished third with a jump of 6.97 m to claim one of Nigeria’s medals at the Games.

After her win, she dedicated her success to Oyedepo and stated that she would present the medal to the pastor.

She did that on Sunday, January 30, 2022, when she visited Oyedepo’s megachurch Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria,

She took to her official Instagram account to post photos of the occasion.

Along with the photos was a message that said, “We have officially dedicated our Olympic medal to papa. Thank you daddy for the opportunity. We love you so much.”

Brume is a member of the Oyedepo led Winners’ Chapel International.

She is expected to continue her preparation for the Diamond League scheduled for later this year.

Oyedepo is a Nigerian preacher, Christian author, and presiding Bishop Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners’ Chapel International.
