According to the video making rounds online, the General Overseer of Royal Champions Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla has called on Christians not to believe everything they see about men of God on social media.
Prophet Joshua Iginla said he is hurt seeing how some Christians are happy about the news circulating on social media about the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman. “Right now, if you go into the internet one thing you will see is Apostle Johnson Suleman being attack and some Christians are happy about it. I’m not holding a brief for him, I’m just hurt. It is only mistakes that we amplified. Can we also amplify his good works? What is wrong with the Body of Christ. Why are we so divided?” he said.
The clergyman said the reason why the Church in Nigeria is divided, is because they do not understand the value of each other. “We don’t understand the value of one another, that’s why we ganged up against each other. The Bible says, if a brother is overtaken in a fault, let the spiritual restore him back in the spirit of meekness, lest they will be overtaken with the same temptation,” Prophet Iginla said.
He further added that nobody can bring Apostle Johnson Suleman down, because is it God who lifted him. “How do you judge and substantiate what is not real? I’m talking because I’ve been through stuffs myself and I’ve seen how we can judge one another anyhow. Nobody cares whether it is true or not. Why do we find joy seeing another person go down? That’s why when you wait for him to go down but he goes up, you will die of hypertension. Nobody can bring Apostle Suleman down. You cannot bring down a man God has lifted up. You cannot judge another man’s servant,” Prophet Iginla said.
