Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) has debunked the rumour about his death. The man of God went live on Facebook to show that he is alive and healthy.
He explained the origin of the rumour and what exactly happened to him.
On May 26, 2022, at around 10:30pm, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere was live on Facebook explaining how he passed out as a result of stress. He said that he has been getting messages about an attack. The man of God revealed that what happened to him was not an attack, but stress.
He asked those carrying the rumour that he was attacked and that he is dead to repent and ask God for forgiveness.
While explaining what actually happened, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere said that he overstressed himself lately. While explaining how the stress accumulated, he said that after he took some scholarship students to Cyprus, he went to see his students in Dubai and Turkey. He said that he has been very very occupied.
As soon as he returned, late Deborah Samuel’s issue came up, he decided to buy the estate and the car for her family and arranged for them to move in. After he handed over the estate and the car to them, he took them out for dinner.
He finished with them very late, so he got home very late as well. According to him, he got home at around 1am and slept around 3am.
In the morning, he took them to OPM free hospital for checkups. During their medical checkup, he was weighed down by stress. He said that when the stress became so much on him, he slumped and passed out.
As soon as he passed out, he saw himself walking in a very long line in a shiny environment. As he was walking, he saw about one million children shouting at him to go back.
As the children were shouting at him to go back, he suddenly felt something like rain dropping on him. When he looked up, he woke up. It was then that he realized that he was on the floor, and people were around him pouring water on him.
He thanked the doctor at the OPM free hospital for giving him first aid treatment, saying that God used it to help him. He added that after the first aid treatment he received at the OPM free hospital, he was transferred to UBTH.
When the doctors at the UBTH checked on him, he said that they saw something, so they decided to do a procedure but he stopped them. They insisted, saying that if they don’t do it immediately, something will go wrong.
He told them that he wants to consult God first, that if they check him again by tomorrow morning and they are able to see what they said they saw earlier, then he would go for the procedure, otherwise, there will be no procedure. After series of disagreements, they finally agreed.
The doctors came back again very early in the morning, they ran the test again, but lo and behold, they could not find those things they saw earlier. As a result, he was discharged that morning.
To prove that he is alive and healthy, he stood up from his chair and jumped up three times. He added that he will be in church on Sunday to minister.
He added that the summary of the whole scenario is that he needs to have some rest as he has been restless lately. He also thanked those who in one way or the other contributed to his recovery.
