Apostle Joshua Selman, the founder and Senior Pastor of the Eternity Network International is one of the top ministers of God in Nigeria. In one of his recent messages, he spoke about how delay is one of the worst things that happen to a man.
He said that one of the worst things that can happen to the life of a man is the mystery of what he called delay. He said that delay happens when the only thing growing in your life is your age. No growth in wisdom; no growth in influence. He said that it is not a testimony to build a house at 65. According to him, we need to settle some things once and for all. There is a “hear ye him” anointing, if it is not on you, no matter what you want to say, men cannot hear you. Things don’t just happen because you are equipped to make them happen. There is a “hear ye him” anointing, if it is not on you, your grace could be despised.
The man of God however sent a message to ministers that they need to be provoked to anger in prayers because they need to move forward in their ministry. It causes envy, jealousy. You need to pray that God gives power to your ministry so that you will see what men cannot see. He said that Our Fathers are men and women who have demonstrated the possibilities of the Kingdom. When you say it and it happens, the next time you are about to speak they will listen to you.
He then revealed that he has learnt by experience that everything that makes for your uplifting is not far from you but it remains closed until the anointing calls it. Some people need to trust the grace of God to change the spiritual climate around them.
