The media space has been thrown into frenzy since early hours of Sunday, 18/07/2021 after the video of a pastor who claimed to be sacked by Living Faith Church after being appraised surfaced online.
In the short video that has now gone viral, the Pastor who identified himself as Peter Godwin narrated how he was sacked by the management of the Living Faith Church for not meeting the church set growth target.

As seen in the video which was made available on Instablog9ja official Instagram page, Peter Godwin laments how himself and other forty pastors were laid off over poor growth index. He also displayed the official letter that was sent to him, notifying him of being discharged from his office as a Pastor of the Commission with immediate effect.
Godwin who revealed that he is a pastor in one of the church branches in Ekiti State said he was also asked to vacate the official accommodation and handover all the properties of the Ministry in his custody including his staff identity card.
As expected, the story of Peter Godwin has sparked reactions from Nigerians on the various social media platforms. However, there is a question everyone seems not to be paying attention to. This is the essence of this piece.
