OSINACHI: You better kill “I do” before “I do” kill you – Apostle Johnson Suleman warns women

The death of the Igbo gospel music artist, Osinachi Nwachukwu, has become a new topic on social media and a new definition of marriage in different churches in Nigeria.

Previously, in Nigeria, the church would always preach against divorce, saying that it’s forbidden by God. Most churches, instead of recommending divorce, will charge the couple to endure the tough time in marriage, saying that it is evil to divorce. It’s believed that once you divorce as a Christian, you are not faithful and may not make it to heaven. Recently, the tough stance on marriage has begun to be softened by great preachers who would have discharged divorce as the worst sin that can lead to hell fire.

The decision and the new definition of marriage were not farfetched. Osinachi Nwachukwu, a popular gospel music artist who died recently, was reported to have died at the hands of her husband, Peter Nwachukwu. Peter was accused of killing his wife through domestic violence. Many suggest that the beautiful Osinachi was wasted in silence. She never contacted her pastor, parents, or friends about the dangerous disaster she was managing in her family. Many suggest she was trying to remain married in order to maintain her Christian life. Some suggestions were that if she was out of marriage, many people would have seen her as having fallen away from faith. This could mean an end to her music ministry. He frowned at the death of the young inspirational artist, Apostle Johnson Suleman, the president of Omega Fire Ministries world wide. Suleman told his church women to report to him anything related to domestic violence. The holy man of God said that it’s better to kill “I do” than “I do kill you.”

Speaking further, he said that he would get the man locked up in a room and invite men to beat him up, insisting that before he did that, he would have gotten the police report and approval to deal with the alleged stupid husband who beats his wife. Suleman told the brothers of any woman who is going through domestic violence to invade the house of the husband and beat the hell out of him.

The fiery priest declared that any man that beats his wife is less than an animal. He attributed the problem to the women’s brothers, who always watch their sister get beaten up by a so-called husband.

Suleman doesn’t have any remorse for what he says, but rather he wishes he could get one person as an example. Some men are beating their spouses, while some women remain silent in this dangerous union. Suleman admonished the men to use their mouths to counsel their women rather than beat them, since beating your wife is more like beating yourself. What do you think about this?
