Osinachi’s Death: Obi Ezekwesili Advices Churches To Do This

Obiageli Ezekwesili, the former minister of education, has admonished churches to take matters related to violence against women seriously.

The 58-year-old was reacting to the death of Osinachi Nwachukwu, the ‘Ekwueme’ singer, in a Twitter thread on Saturday.

Nwachukwu died at an Abuja hospital on Friday.

Edwin Alex, the gospel musician, had claimed that she died of throat cancer.

But some social media users alleged that her death was due to domestic violence.

Frank Edwards, another gospel singer, also claimed that Nwachukwu’s death was caused by an “unreasonable human”.

Reacting to the singer’s death, Ezekwesili said her death is “saddening”, but to “read allegations of spousal abuse” worsen the pain.
