Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide revealed that people cannot understand the prosperity of the church and they cannot also doubt it. He revealed this at Covenant Day of Vengeance and Anointing Service, 1st Service, Faith Tabernacle.
According to him, you cannot treat God’s Word with levity and expect Him to treat you with dignity. Walk in the Spirit because one wrong step can wreck a whole destiny.
The man of God however revealed the reason why his church organize free transportation. He said that it is not a display of wealth, neither is it a crave to see people in the church. “Is this not a display of wealth? Is this not a crave, a craze to see people in Church?”he asked. He the gave two reasons why the organize free transportation and they are
1. The worth of a soul in the sight of God is far greater than the wealth of the whole world put together. It costs Him the blood of His only begotten Son, to rescue mankind. So it is no deal with God.
2. We are not only sent to the well-to-do, we are sent to the blind, the maimed, the downtrodden, the afflicted – Luke 14:21. There is no way they can get across, except somebody goes to bear them on their shoulders.
According to him, there is no way sinners can make their way to Heaven, without somebody reaching out to them and somebody bringing them to the church. “We are sent to the homeless. There is no way you are homeless; how do you find your way down here? The closest Church you can’t get there,” he said. So we are carrying the wounded soldiers in the front, into Church where they shall be taken care of.
