Pastor Adeboye: “Always welcome your husband like a king returning to his palace”

The husband is the head of the house and he expects to be treated with honor. No matter the situation the man may find himself in, he must never be mocked so that she doesn’t get cursed like Micah who mocked her husband David and got a curse instead of a blessing. She was the only woman the Bible recorded to die without bearing a child. The husband is the priest of the house and you must be wary of the things you force out of his mouth.

Adeboye who is fit and very qualified to advise people on marriage after several decades as a married man spoke about how women can learn from Micah and treat their husbands rightly. In the Open Heavens devotional, he encouraged women to make their husbands feel very comfortable at home so that they won’t stay out long just to avoid a nagging wife.

He said a man should get the most dignitary he can ever get at home and that the wife should always welcome him like a king when he arrives. He said a woman who mocks her husband is actually mocking her head and stopping the flow of of anointing from flowing down to her.

A man should feel refreshed and energized at home and not demoralized, step up your honorable game in treating your husband.
