Pastor Adeboye Reveals One Thing Doctors Should Do Before Treating A Patient

Pastor E. A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God spoke to his members on “BY HIS STRIPES” at their Thanksgiving Service.

He quoted the book of Isaiah 53:5 which says, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes, we are healed.”

He then said, “I’ve told you before when you know you’re going to kill somebody, why beat him? So that the pain in your flesh can be dealt with. That’s why I have good news for somebody here today: “By His Stripes, you shall be healed.”

Speaking to the doctors, he said, “So I rejoice with those of you who are doctors because things will be different now.

Thank God for your efficiency, but you know very well it gets to a stage when “there’s nothing more I can do.” At that time, hand over the matter to the one who said, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.”

Finally, he said, “Thank God for Doctors, Medicine, but thank God for the name that is above every other name. Thank God for the name at which every knee must bow.”
