Pastor Adeboye is a man I respect and I respect him for many reasons. He is a scholar that has proven himself in the academic world and also the spirit world. His life lessons have helped me a lot and I will be sharing one with you today. He shared a message on how he experienced two spiritual attacks and God later told him the reason why he allowed it. The Lord has a plan for all of us and the sooner we understand that the better for us. If God says something, he means it and when he says by His stripe we shall be healed, he means it, and no matter the sickness in our life, he can heal it.
Some people tend to underrate the influence of God in their lives and end up not thanking him for it. Scientists have proven that there are lots of germs in most of the water we consume and those germs can seriously harm our body. Even the food we eat is not totally safe, the snacks we buy on the roadside are not totally healthy but we are still alive. This is trying to tell us that whether we admit it or not, the Lord’s influence in our life can not be counted.
Pastor Adeboye shared a story on how the Lord allowed him to experience intense vomiting and stooling. When the lord finally healed him, he asked the Lord why he allowed his son to fall victim. The Lord told him that he did that to him so that he can appreciate the unseen battles the Lord fights for him. Since that day, he has been very grateful to the Lord for every little thing.
