Every child looks up to their parents as role models, they learn fast and pick up characters from the parent’s actions. A child is supposed to be trained by the parents, that is part of the responsibilities of the parent. A child who is well brought up by the parent will definitely be different from the one who is not.
Adeboye spoke about children being brought up by their parents in the Open Heavens devotional, he spoke about how he taught his daughter how men can be deceitful and how she ought to flee when men used some certain words.
He then said that some parents can be responsible for the way there are so many internet fraudsters nowadays. He is of the opinion that if parents taught their children against greed, there may not have been internet fraudsters around nowadays.
Greed is the root of fraud because a fraudulent person prefers to steal from other people than work hard.
