Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Reveals That He Doesn’t Understand Why Some Churches Do Not Use Instruments- See what he said

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the global senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, has revealed his displeasure at churches who do not use musical instruments in their worship. He said this during his sermon at the midweek service.

He explained that praising God with musical instruments leads to God rising up to bring punishment on your enemies. To prove his point, he read from Isaiah 30:32, where the people praised the Lord with harps and tambourines as God punished their enemies.

“That’s why I don’t understand any church that says we should not use instruments; we should only be clapping. I’m wondering if they read the same thing I read,” he said.

He said also that if the people playing the instruments are filled with the Holy Ghost, then they will cause more havoc in the enemies camp. For example, David; according to the man of God, David just played the harp and the evil spirit tormenting Saul left him.

It was the playing of the harp, without singing any lyrics, that drove away the evil spirit.

“When I get to heaven, apart from talking with Jonah, I will meet David and ask him, what did you play that made the evil spirit leave Saul? Can you play it again?,” he said.
