Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Reveals What Nigerian Christians should do this coming elections
Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the global senior pastor of the Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly has said that it is not every Christian that must do business.
He said this during the Daily Prophetic Encounter prayer meeting of today, as he was about to close the service.
“It’s not all of us that should do business,” he said. “Some of us should go into politics and make policies. Don’t you know that one policy can mess up Dangote?”
With these words, he encouraged believers not to be afraid of going into the political sector because they will be able to influence things for the kingdom of God there. His words sound timely, especially as the 2023 elections draw near.
I am reminded of one period, during the 12 Days of Glory event, when Pastor Mensa Otabil preached about the importance of having Christians in the places where decisions are made. He referenced the story of Israel in Egypt, and how the Egyptians were able to make a policy that turned all the Israelites to slaves because no Israelite was on the committee to fight against that policy.
Nigerian Christians should engage in this coming elections and not shy away. Even the Bible said that the people rejoice when a righteous person rules.
