The senior pastor and founder of Household of God church, Pastor Chris Okotie has revealed that he was never destined to marry that was why he had two failed marriages.
Speaking in an exclusive interview, the former presidential aspirant disclosed that he married because he didn’t know the will of God in his life.
According to him, God has spoken to him that he was called to serve God but he didn’t understand. ” Before I became born again, I didn’t understand the will of God in my life. I always wanted to do what was on my mind.” he said.
He also stated that he used to consider himself as the best husband but the two marriages didn’t work out.
“Why the marriage failed twice was because I used to consider myself as one of the best husbands that has ever lived. Despite that, the marriage didn’t work out.”
When asked whether he would give marriage another chance, the man of God said he will not marry anymore.
” I am not getting married again because Jesus told me that what happened is already in the past.”
