The General Overseer of Believers’ Love World Incorporated, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has answered a critical question which says, why did Jesus Christ ask those He healed to not tell others about it? This was disclosed in a video by a popular YouTube handle minutes ago.

According to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome from the video: “In the Bible, Jesus healed many people but He instructed some not to tell anyone while some were instructed to show themselves to the Priest. What was the significance of this? Listen carefully!

“When Jesus healed a blind man, it was obvious that those around Him knew the man was blind. So the man doesn’t need to tell anyone that he can see. But when He healed somebody whose case was not obvious, He said go show yourself to the Priest.

“Now for the leapers, He said don’t tell anybody, go to the Priest. Remember what the Lord said about leprosy? So if someone was healed of leprosy, people might not know because the evidence of the healing will not be enough to convince anyone to go near them. It is only the Priest who had the instruction from the Lord to know someone who was healed of leprosy. This is because there is an internal part of leprosy that can’t been seen according to the Law.

“That is why Jesus said don’t tell anybody, go to the Priest because they were the only ones then who could certify that someone has been cleansed from any affliction. If they go to the Priest, the Priest will test according to the Law to declare the man free from leprosy. The man can now go openly to tell others. That is why Jesus did that”.
