Pastor David Ibiyeomie Reveals Why Being Born Again Only, Is Not A Guarantee For Success

Senior Pastor of the Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie reveals that being born again does not mean the person will be successful in life.

According to him, success comes with work and with applying biblical principles. Proverbs 22:29 says a man who is diligent in his work will stand before kings, he will not stand before mean men. This is the biblical principle of excellence and what you have to do is to apply them by taking the time to pay the price.

The Cleric said this today during his sermon in the midweek service of the Salvation Ministries, held at the church’s headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

According to the Cleric from the video, “When you are successful, you attract many to you. Success is attractive, while failure repels. Everybody is your brother, sister, or friend when you are successful. God wants His children to be successful, but before then you have to understand that the gospel of Jesus Christ has two sides; the person of Jesus and the principles of Jesus.

The person of Jesus guarantees eternal life while His principles guarantee success here on earth. We have the life of Jesus and the laws of God. We have a King and a kingdom. It is not enough to know about the King, you have to know about His kingdom as well. Having an experience of God does not mean that you know the expertise of God”.

The Cleric explained that when a man is born again, he has secured eternal life with God, but that does not mean that he will succeed on the earth. To be successful on earth, you must operate within the laws and principles of God.

This is why It is very easy to see holy, dedicated, and devoted Christians leaving below their potential. Many Christians have accepted the person of Jesus Christ but neglect His principles. It is the principles of Jesus Christ that decide your success when you apply them.
