God has given us the wisdom to succeed in hardship.

Nigerian televangelist David Ibiyeomie shares some tips on how can we succeed during hardships. We all face a difficult situation at some point in our lives and it doesn’t mean that the Lord is not with us. During those circumstances, the Lord is giving us the strength and wisdom to overcome our trials. For a child of God, it is really possible to succeed even when things aren’t working the way we wanted.

“Wisdom is the correct application of knowledge. Wisdom is knowing what to do and doing it. It’s possible to succeed when things are not working,” David said.

He then referenced 1 King 17: 1-16 to explain how can we overcome hardships. The most important thing we should be doing in times of trouble is to stand on God’s word. In the Bible, the Lord has given us all the knowledge we need to live our life according to His will.

“Stand on the Word,” he emphasized. “Don’t allow fear to affect you, that’s what Elijah said. God’s word is superior to what is happening. Yes, what you’re seeing or what’s happening is the truth, not a lie and God knows it. But God is saying that despite the circumstances, you have to stand on His word.”

Succeed in hardships

He then continued to share three things that we must do in order to succeed hardships:

1. Walk by divine direction.

We must move according to the leading of God and not on our own plans and understanding.

2. Be obedient.

In the midst of hardship, you have to obey the Word of God. In every circumstance and situation, we must always obey God. In our obedience to Him there are blessings and breakthroughs.

3. Fear not.

Do not fear, but have faith in God’s Word. Stand and trust in the promises of the Lord for you. The future has already been paved by the Lord, we just have to follow Him fearlessly.

No mountain is too high for our God to move and there’s no situation too hard for Him to change. The God that has made you is the same God that is standing with you in every situation. He is a wonder-working God and He will do great things in your life, so do not fear.
