Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, in a recent post on Facebook spoke about why people need Counsellors in their lives.
According to him, a counsellor is somebody who has a lot of knowledge in a particular field and is willing to share that knowledge with others who need it to solve their problems. Sometimes, a counsellor is a professional in a particular field of practice and sometimes, it is someone with vast experience in an area of life. Whatever the case is, he said that he or she has the knowledge that you need to solve your problems. When you have counsellors in virtually every area of life, you have the knowledge you need to solve your problems.
According to him, you should know straight away that you need counsellors in any field of your life where you may be lacking in some knowledge. Speaking to the married people, he said that if you are having issues in your marriage and don’t know how to resolve them, why don’t you look for a godly marriage counsellor to learn what you need to do? If you are having issues with your finances, then look for a finance expert to help you out. If you need help with something spiritual, talk to your Pastor.
