The Word of God is powerful, it is declared as yes and amen. God in his power has purposely prepared His elects and placed in them the ability to declare and decree some commands, most especially in regards to prevailing over the power and principalities of the wicked. The believers authority and ability to command to obedience for things to work, positively for them has been established by God, according to the Bible in Mathew 16:19.
Pastor EA Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God ministered in the day 4 of their ongoing Holy Ghost Congress on the criteria of believers being empowered to be able to command God to do their bidding, in answering prayers and manifesting positively on the areas where miracles are needed in their lives. In respect of the book of Isaiah 45:11, the Bible asserts that, believers should command Him to do their bidding, to answer their prayers and make things happen, positively in their lives for good. The Lord has made believers the beneficial heirs of the kingdom of God. The several benefits accrued to being a faithful servant of the Lord would be delivered unto them, if they could command Him, to do them and make the promises come to pass.
Criteria Expected in a believer that makes him eligible to command God:
1. You must please Him:
In order to be able to command God and receive a positive answer, you must be the type that pleases Him in all His expectations. The expectations are in respect of His commandments and fulfilling His wills. You must be one that hates sins and be ready to confess on those you mistakenly commits.
2. Have Faith:
You must be the type that is full of faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. The Bible says, those who come to the Lord does so in faith and in truth. Faith is it that draws you closer to the throne of the Lord that you cannot see.
3. You must be ready to listen to Him directions:
You must be the obedient servant. In every of Gods directions, you must be ready to accept and follow them doggedly. As He has promised to instruct and lead you according to His words in Isaiah 42:16, and Psalm 32:8.
4. You must know what it takes to approach Him:
As a believer, you must understand the expectations of God in regards to how to worship Him and approach His throne to make your requests known to Him. This is done through praise and worship, which cones from a deep regard and love for Him.
5. Faithful work and services to Him:
Your faithfulness in the work of God, you would be automatically added to the list of favourites elects that God does not joke with.
In all these, you would be able to command and authoritatively instruct God to do your bidding, according to His will.
