The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye has revealed why they changed the Holy Communion Service from being once in a year to once in a month. This was disclosed in a video via his verified Facebook handle hours ago.
According to Pastor Enoch Adeboye from 1 hour into the video: “I have told you that in the days of our Father in the Lord we had the Holy Communion once in a year. And this usually takes place during the last Saturday of the Convention. He will be preaching and I will be interpreting.
“The Holy Communion is a Spiritual Electricity that we use to charge our Spiritual batteries. But now, we do it once in a month because some people’s batteries might run down before the Convention”.
