The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Pastor Dr William Folorunsho Kumuyi dedicates the Bayelsa Medical University.
On Monday, 28th of March, 2022. Kumuyi dedicates the State Medical University. He was applauded by the school’s management for honouring the invitation despite its short notice.
Pastor Kumuyi in his brief speech, spoke on three things that the Bayelsa Medical University should do and be known for, he spoke about being ‘Relevant’ on this point he said that some diseases are not found in some parts of the world, he gave an example of fibroids which he said is not found everywhere, he suggested that the university should focus in teaching the students on health issues that are common in the area more than general training.
On his second point, he talked about being ‘Reliable’ and the last point was ‘Research’, he advised the University to be committed to research.
After his speech, he prayed for the University and its management. The management through the hand of the University Vice-Chancellor, Prof Ebitimitula Nicholas Etebu presented a gift to pastor Kumuyi and his wife.
