One of the attributes of God I really like is the attribute of omniscience. It means that he knows everything there is to know in this life. Because of that, God is not surprised when things happen. I remember one of my favourite songs, where the rapper said something like: “There’s no surprise in his eyes; my God’s never shocked.”
David recognized this attribute, and he allowed God to lead him. That is why he wrote in Psalm 24, that the Lord was his shepherd, and because of that, he was confident that he would not lack anything.
In a word of encouragement, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo reminded his followers that God knew about every need before it comes up, because he is omniscient, and he has already taken care of those needs. He revealed that all you have to do to see those needs met, is to trust his guidance and leadership, as he will lead you to the place where you will see your supplies.
The Bible describes us as sheep, and sheep are known for being blind followers. They trust their shepherd completely, and they follow him with all their heart. That’s exactly how we should be. You should follow God’s leading blindly, because he has the full knowledge of your needs, and he is set to fulfill it. Be blessed.
