Pastor (Mrs) Faith Oyedepo has revealed one of the greatest treasures given by God to man. She made the revelation while ministering in the Living Faith Church located in Ota, Ogun State. The message was titled “One cannot have a heart for God and not have a time for him,” and she made reference to Matthew 6:21, which says that a man’s heart will always be where his treasure is kept.
Mrs. Oyedepo pointed out that time is a treasure created by God, and he has given it to man, and if people value time as what it really is, they will do all they can to handle it well. She affirmed that whatever a man’s time is spent upon not only shows what he or she values but also speaks volumes about what is important in his or her life.
She, however, advised members of the church to always examine their own ways of spending their time and what they use it for, and also warned that the enemy known as the devil is out there doing all he can to steal people’s time, and praying to God for grace to manage the time which God has given to every man as a treasure, is very essential.
In addition, she revealed that there is a spiritual battle going on over the time allotted to every individual, and because of this, every child of God needs to learn to redeem their time through prayer and by taking advantage of every opportunity that time offers them.
