A Pastor of the Christ Apostolic Church, Pastor Oluwasegunfunmi Olusina Ayomi in a post on his verified Facebook handle a few hours ago warns upcoming pastors to be careful of some senior pastors. According to him, some of the senior pastors are not representing Christ, some are satanic agents to get the younger ones off the course.
According to the Cleric from the post, “It is not every man of God that is filled with the Spirit of God, some of them are backsliders while some are tools in the hands of the devil to block your rising and shinning. When you see ungodly behaviours among men of God, do not be bothered or discouraged. Remember the Biblical story of the old prophet and the young prophet in 1Kings 13:18. In this Bible verse, The old prophet used his office to lure the young prophet into disobeying God and the young prophet eventually died because of that act of disobedience”.
Speaking further, the Cleric admonished the young pastors not to harbour bitterness or unforgiveness against any senior pastor as that will only create room for the devil. “Ignore them and focus on where you are going. When you do this, no attack will stop you from getting to your destination in Jesus’ name”, Pastor Ayomi prayed.
