The Christian religion is one of total commitment and dedication to God. Since it is a religion that is based on faith and belief in God, it is required of believers to be fully consecrated to the things of God in order to achieve the promises of God, as rightly affirmed in the Bible. However, some people see these activities as extremism and too much of a commitment as required for average human beings that is dedicated to the things of God. In the respect of this, Ndepo Tv has shared a sermon delivered by Dr Paul Enenche in regards to those that are labelled as carrying church on their head.
According to the cleric, it is better to be controversial than to be inconsequential. Believers must not be wary if they face verbal persecution in regards to how they worship God. According to the cleric, he stated an instance of a sister who narrated how some people that claimed to be born again has advised her not to carry church on her head. She was being harassed based on her conviction to God. They saw her as extremely devoted in regards to how she serves God.
As shared by Ndepo Tv, the cleric has advised that It is better to be misunderstood doing the right thing than to die as a nonentity. Those who follow the crowd get lost in the crowd but those who take a stand, stand out in life. The Lord Jesus Christ has rightly put it to believers that, they also would be persecuted and demeaned as a result of their conviction and belief in him. According to the cleric, being a person of conviction may make you appear controversial, especially to people of conformity and compromise. But, believers are not to be discouraged. Since you are serving the true and faithful God, you would not be disappointed in him.
