THE LORD MY ROCK.
Psalm 18:1-6
The reason why we are able to call upon God is because He is our Rock. He is our stability, He is our solidity, He is the reason for our immovability.
YOU CAN’T BE AFRAID OF PREMATURE DEATH IF YOU ARE CONNECTED TO THE GOD WHO IS OUR ROCK.
IT DOESN’T MATTER THE EXTENT TO WHICH UNGODLY MEN CONSPIRE, YOU CAN’T BE AFRAID OF THEIR CONSPIRACY BECAUSE JEHOVAH IS YOUR ‘KAKARARITY’
When we call upon that God who is worthy to be praised , what does He do for us:
1. Rescue from enemies: Psalm 18:3.
2. Rescue from sorrow: Psalm 18:4. Church Gist. This is not a person dying himself but death happening around him to cause him sorrow.
3. Rescue from the fear of ungodly people
4. Rescue from the snares of death: there are all kinds of the snares of death that God rescues His people from.
5. Rescue from distress, pressure, anxiety, tension: that which puts your life under pressure.
