Pastor Tunde Bakare Reveals Why He Had Zero Votes At The Concluded APC Primaries

Pastor Tunde Bakare, the founder and senior Pastor of Citadel Global Community Church has revealed the cause of his disappointing loss at the APC Presidential Primary elections that took place some days ago.

As shared by Vanguard, the cleric in his words has revealed the reason for having zero at the polls thus, “my intolerance for a certain kind of politics gave me zero votes at the just conducted Special Convention of the All Progressives Congress, APC”. The cleric disclosed this in a message delivered at the headquarters of his Oregun-based Citadel Global Community Church, in a sermon titled, ‘A new Nigeria is still possible.

In his words, he continued in respect of the reason for the zero votes at the primary, “This is why we confidently wear our zero votes as a badge of zero tolerance for a certain kind of politics. Our confidence is rooted in Daniel 4:17: It is to Almighty God I will ultimately give account, and it is in Him I will continually trust despite what may today appear to be a setback. There is still a cause and there is still a nation to transform.
