The General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry in his recent series on the wonders of the Cross. He titled the message the Power and the Glory of His Cross taking the Bible passages from the book of First Corinthians chapter one. He made it known that God does not bless us or answer our prayers based on feeling, but by the Written word of God.
Pastor Kumuyi known to be a holiness preacher divided his message into three points of Consideration. In the first subheading titled the Healing Power Of Christ, he admonished the members to focus their attention on Christ no matter the challenges and battles of life. The Lord does not put sicknesses on people, it is the work of the devil to make sure you are not living the life God has promised you. He prophesied that the Lord will set you free from the captivity of the enemies. What do you believe God to do in your life, what are you trusting God for and it seems as though there is no way out? Just trust in the Lord with all your heart and your expectations will never be cut short, because what you believe is what you will receive (Matthew 8: 13). According to the book of Luke chapter 5:17. The word of God says the stripes of Jesus are present to heal and set you free, you shall be free indeed.
In point two, he talked about the Heavenly Presence of Jesus. Pastor Kumuyi referred to John 3:2-5. He noted that the same power of the Cross will roll away every guilt in your life and set you free completely. All those things of devil hovering over you will roll away completely. Wherever you are faced with difficulties and you speak the name of Jesus it will work great for you and your family. This will surely happen because Jesus goes into his Father, it is not by our crying or rolling on the floor that brings our Deliverance but through the name of Jesus this evident in the book of John chapter fourteen verses twelve to fourteen. However, if you are always hearing the gospel and you do not take the necessary action to save your soul, you will be surely Damned.
The third point of consideration titled the Hopeful People of Christ focused on the book of Matthew chapter one. Pastor Kumuyi noted that you must surrender your life to Christ because that is what gives us hope of eternal life. We have the assurance from the book of Romans chapter eight that God will solve every one of our problems. He prophesied that where there is death life will come, whatever seems impossible will surely become possible. The secret to your miracles is that you must always give glory to God even before you even feel any sign of your healing or miracle. Just like the Children of Isreal, they went round the mighty walls of Jericho with a shout of joy and triumph, with their actions the walls came down flat. As a child of God you have to believe before you receive, be fully persuaded, and persistent. In all you do always partner with Christ and as you do so the Lord will do great and Mighty things in Jesus Name.
