It is well known that most Christians on Sundays go for Worship Service in their different Churches scattered all over the globe. On Sunday Morning Pastor William Folorunsho of the Deeper Life Bible Church spoke to his members in every part of the World through the Sunday Worship Service at Uyo, as it was transmitted to other of the World through the internet and vis satellite.
The Minister in his message revealed the Seven Wonder Working Saying of the Cross. The Message focus on the book of Matthew chapter 27 as he referred to different Bible passages of the scriptures.
This lead to the first point of consideration in his Message titled The Wonders of Substitution, Suffering for Our Sake. The minister revealed that as long as you confess Jesus as your Lord and Personal Saviour, Satan will be defeated because he has taken the iniquity of us all, he had no sin but he suffered for us on the cross (1peter 3:18). The second point of consideration is The Wonders of Supplication For Even Scorners, here Kumuyi admonishes the members that God will not cast anyone that comes to him, regardless of what you have done or the bad things you have said about Christ and Christians. You just have to lay everything at the feet of Jesus, both your private secret sin and your public common sin (Luke 3:24). As you do so the Lord will forgive and pardon you and the Wonders of his supplication will work for you.
This led to the third point titled the Wonder Of Salvation for the Worst of Sinners, in this point Pastor William said when you come to the Lord you will have redemption through his blood just like the thief on the cross did and Christ forgave him as noted in the book of Luke chapter 23 verses 43. As you come to the Lord do not focus on the bad things you have done in the past, but focus on the riches of his grace and God will abundantly pardon you. The next point is The Wonders of Solace, Comfort, Sympathy, Empathy for the sorrowful. He prophesied that whatever sorrow is in your heart, the Word of God will comfort you. It doesn’t matter what you have lost and nobody can replace or console you the Lord will comfort you. Just take a bold step of faith and come to Christ he will give you rest.
The Fifth subheading is The Wonder of His Spiritual, Eternal Satisfaction. Pastor Kumuyi referred to the book of (John 19:28) when Abraham told the thirsty rich man in hell that he cannot come over to the other side where Lazarus the beggar was because of the gulf in between them. You are not yet in hell, as you come to the Lord in submission he will satisfy your soul, spirit, and body both eternally and spiritually. The next point is The Wonders of His Satisfactory Sacrifice For All Seeking Souls. The Power of the enemy Is destroyed out of your life and Family, you are free indeed (Colossians 2:14; John 19:30). The last point of Consideration is the Wonders of His Supreme Submission For Sublime Sovereignty, Pastor Kumuyi revealed that as you call upon the name of the Lord anything in your life as Suffering, perdition, bondage, and sicknesses must bow because God is Supreme. But you must make him the Lord of your life by repenting of all sins, asking Jesus to come into your life
